In the United States there are many different bird watching clubs, there are a few clubs that are nationally based and there are clubs that are many different clubs that are local or regional. The American Birding Association is a very large bird watching club in the United States that has also has local and regional chapters. The ABA represents a large range of birding interests.

In the UK , the British Trust for Ornithology or the BTO is a very well renowned bird watching club. It has been in existence since 1933 examining the populations, movements and ecology of wild birds.

There are bird watching clubs all over the world, anywhere you could possibly want to participate in bird watching. Two excellent clubs are The Bird Observers Club of Australia is a great Australian club, an in Africa , the club to be a part of would be the African Bird Club.
